I’m Paul Carr, and I’ve been running my own creative output and services through HOOKED for 6 years now. I feel like I’ve always had a camera with me - and if it’s not been me doing the shooting, then I may well have been art directing the shoot as part of my 27 year career as a film marketing creative.

All this has focused a love of still imagery and what can be sparked by a still moment. The ability to tell a story in a single image is an artform - so much can be said. Amongst the constant content and endless video input that we’re bombarded with these days - I still find that there’s something special in capturing still moments. They make you stop and can capture details, energy and evoke memories in a way that nothing else can.

I find that there’s no better feeling than enabling people to experience that long after the event has passed. Here’s hoping that we get to work together :)
